When people are looking to socialize and network with people who share a certain common interest, they will often join a special interest club. Special interest clubs are clubs and organizations that are made up of people who share a particular interest. Just as there are many different interests that people have, so too are there many kinds of special interest clubs. Some special interest clubs are collectors clubs such as classic automobile clubs, coin collectors clubs, and stamp collecting clubs. Other special interest clubs are activity clubs such as drama clubs, book clubs, and metal detector clubs. Other special interest clubs are outdoor activity clubs such as rock hound clubs, hiking clubs and bird watching clubs. Most special interest clubs are national organizations that have local branches while others are local organizations.
